FACILITIES Stabling - Purpose built and designed for maximum comfort. American Barn stables range from 12' x 12' to 15' x 15' - all have veterinary standard, rubber matting and automatic water as standard. They also have personal storage in each stable for all the necessities. Each horse has his own private zone where he can eat his hay away from his neighbours yet he also has his social zone protected by galvanized bars. |
If your horse likes more privacy, we have a further range of internal stables within the hay shed. Light and airy with automatic water, perfect for the more sensitive horse. Grazing - Strictly maintained and rotated, we have 25 acres of good quality pasture which is well fenced with either cornish hedging or post and rail. Enclosures are also divided when the need arises via safe electric tape. You have no need to poo-pick each day as our strict worming programme and land management ensures a worm free environment. |
Floodlit, all-weather 30m x 55m arena - Superior drainage and surface to ensure a puddle free and safe working environment ideal for dressage and show jumping. It is fenced with post and rail and also has strategically placed mirrors to help you with your training. Levelled regularly, the surface is just about perfect. We have six halogen, sports standard floodlights placed around the arena to enable riding to continue in winter evenings. The light is good enough to show jump at night. Our decked, viewing area provides a safe place to stand allowing friends and relatives to watch you ride. We have a full set of BSJA Show Jumps available to use having their own storage area next to the school. |
Tack room / rug store - Designed to conveniently store your tack and rugs on purpose built racks. It also serves as a chill out area where there is a kettle, microwave and fridge for your convenience. The noticeboard informs of forthcoming events and get togethers. |
Hay/ bedding store - Conveniently situated close to the stables. We cut our own hay (so we know what's in it) and put it into large round bales, opening one at a time for DIY people to help themselves.There is ample feed storage and we purchse bedding in bulk to keep costs down .... you pay what we pay! |
Lorry, Trailer Park - ample and safe parking of your trailer or lorry . We also have a full size Ifor Williams trailer which we hire to our owners for competitions. |
